Teardrop (2026) is a short duet depicting a melancholic separation. For most of the piece their two lines move together intertwined, as if clinging to a final embrace. It isn’t until the very end they diverge, peeled apart as they unwillingly confront farewell. A poignant teardrop falls, a brief mourning against an inevitable leaving.
